Community and Spiritual Enrichment at Whangarei Catholic Parish
Whangarei Catholic Parish offers a vibrant array of communities and programs that foster spiritual growth and fellowship. Key groups include Couples for Christ, aimed at strengthening marriage and family; the Filipino Community, which celebrates cultural heritage and faith; and the Syro Malabar Community.
Additionally, youth and children's programs such as Flame Junior Youth and Blaze Youth Group provide engaging environments for younger parishioners. The Parish Playgroup creates a welcoming space for families, while the Returning Home Programme supports those reconnecting with their faith.
Other notable groups include the Divine Mercy Prayer Group, Christian Meditation Group, and the Catholic Woman's League, each dedicated to deepening spiritual practices and community service. Marriage Encounter offers enriching experiences for couples seeking to enhance their relationship.
Together, these groups reflect the parish's commitment to inclusivity, spiritual growth, and community support, inviting all to participate in their vibrant life.
